September 29th we celebrated my mom's 80th Birthday with my family at my cousin's (Heather) house in Atlanta, Georgia. We also combined this with a family reunion. It was wonderful to get together with everyone again, since we all live in different states. We haven't done this since our weekend on houseboats when Brion (my son) was 3, Tonia (my daughter) was 11 and Heather (my cousin) was 16. Look at them now with children of thier own. Thank you goes to Heather for planning this and letting us all invade her house. Her's and her husband's (Kenny) hospitality was amazing, entertainment for the kids and food was great ... I must say none of us went away hungry!!! As you can tell from the picutres below mom is as beautiful as ever and doesn't look a day over 60 (she has to still be older than me). We all had such a good time and mom has allot of family to love (take a look at how we fill the steps) and we all love her. We look forward to doing this again on her 90th birthday ... who knows by then she may have some great great grandkids Katelynn will be 22 then). Happy Birthday Mom and WE WISH YOU MANY MORE!!!! Oh, one after thought ... Auburn Beat Florida while we were there ... Thank you Heather and Kenny for putting up with my yelling and excitement ... I am a loud and excited AU Fan ... Love those Tigers ... War Eagle!!!!!!

Chattanooga Trip

Labor Day Weekend this year, we went to Chattanooga to visit our good friends Deb and Joe Joles. Steve's brother Jeff and his wife Heather also came up. We had a great time visiting, catching up on old times, getting to go out on their boat (both Saturday and Sunday), and watching Auburn play their 1st game of the season. Steve was the brave one (still a kid at heart) in our family and showed us that he can still ski. He also went tubeing with Deb & Joe's son Jarrad. Both Heather and Jeff also braved it and did some tubeing (check out the pic). See the nuclear towers behind them ... we all survived!!!! As for Donna, I was the chicken ... didn't want to find out if I was too old to still get up on ski's ... last time I tried sking (10 years ago) I could still get up on ski's ... I like to be able to say I can still ski ... HeeHee!!!! Anyway, we had a great time with our friends and they have a beautiful home. Thanks for the hospitality and we look forward to visiting again!!!
