Kali All Dressed Up & Ready For The Snow

Kali told me it was cold outside this year, so when we went to PetSmart for her grooming appointment we found her a coat. As you can see she is dressed as the Princess she is. It is a brown tweed with fur on the collar and bottom. It also has a belt and 2 buttons in the back.

It is a good thing that we did get her a coat, as it Snowed in Birmingham today. Kali was cold when she went outside and not quite sure about this ... but as you can see, she is still an Auburn Fan ... with the flag in the background ....

Can I get down yet? Not sure if I want to yet though

My feet are cold ... you should have bought me some boots too!!!!

What is this stuff ... it is cold, but when I lick it it taste like water ...

Christmas 2007 at Mom's

Hi Everyone. This year we went to Mom's house a couple of days prior to Christmas and had Christmas with my mom, brother and family, and Tonia & family. We had a lot of fun visiting and being together. Again this was another 1st holiday that we were without my dad. That was hard, but we had each other and that helped. It is nice to have the good memories that we have from past Christmas's with dad and how he would always make us laugh with his funny gift he always gave mom. This year we tried to carry on his tradition and got mom some pink pajama's with hearts on them ... she loved them and did not see the joke, until that night when she tried them on. They were the new style hip hugger pants that the teens wear now ... it was funny listening to her tell us that she got the joke when she kept tugging on them, but they would not go up to her waist .... HeeHee. Although we tried to be funny, I don't think we can ever out do the Lava Lamp and native music dad gave her one year that was suppose to help relax her.

Below are some of the pictures I took while we opened presents and spent time at mom's.

Kaylor got a present from Granny and Grapes that had several boxes wrapped together. With each box he said not another

Finally he got to the last one and it was a bag with an envelope in it ... finally he said with a BIG Smile ... now what can this be???

Yippee ... Money ... just what I wanted (he wanted money to help pay for the Battery Operated Big Car he wanted for Christmas).

Randy & Mom ... with the camera man (Bill) in the back ground. Bill video the day.

Mom got her faux suede jacket that she wanted

Isn't she cute!!!!!

Steve got the ultimate man toy (tools) a battery powered drill from Mom

Then he received refreshments (Round the world Beer) from Tonia and Randy.

Kali thought she needed to get in the picture also, so she hopped in mom's lap ....

Let's have some fun now ... Hey Bill give your sister a kiss ... we still love to tease each other ...

In the evening it is always game time when grandma has her grandchildren with her. The fill or bust Challenge is on once again .....

Christmas Eve 2007 at Margo's

Steve and I went to Margo's house in Enterprise for Christmas Eve this year. I made the Memory Quilt that was the family gift to her this year. I had promised to make her one, for several years. We had a great time with the quilt and all of her memories, as you can tell from the pictures below.

Margo telling us the memory behind each picture on the quilt.
